A law firm needed a new design and a custom WordPress theme to improve PageSpeed results.

The Challenge

Before working with me, the client struggled with the following:

• Slow website - caused by a number of factors like image optimization, inefficient theme, and incorrect web optimization techniques.
• Outdated website design - free and paid themes doesn’t cut it, especially that the client needs a unique design while maintaining speed.
• Failing core web vitals - without proper web optimization, accessibility and technical SEO implementation, core web vitals will fail which affects the website’s ranking on search results.
• Google Rich Results - aside from aiming to rank on search results, implementing rich results helps improve your page’s appearance by adding relevant data.

My Approach & Solution

Keep it simple. Only implement features that are needed, that means avoiding over-bloated themes that tries to do everything and unnecessary plugins.

1. Create a bare minimum custom WordPress theme that only includes the necessary requirements.
2. Create a unique design that suits the Law Firm’s image: professional, sleek, reliable.
3. Implement modern web optimization techniques to nail PageSpeed results.
4. Optimize every image manually.
5. Pick faster alternative core plugins.
6. Set up the client’s web optimization settings to ensure nothing breaks.
